Change Doesn’t Happen Alone

We hear numerous times from a variety of sources that change doesn’t happen alone. Why is the same message being used by so many organizations, businesses and groups? Because working together has a much better chance of creating something great. Not mediocre, but great. And working together will create a lasting change. Why put so much effort, including time that many don’t have, into making change? Because we all benefit.  

Change happens when individuals invest time, talent, and yes, treasure. Getting involved is the foundation to change. Your time and talent invested in United Way committees, such as community impact, lead to improved services that are made available to those who need them. Your financial gift furthers that effort to make it possible and long lasting. Your gifts are what really make a difference.  

As a community-based nonprofit, our successes are your successes. When a positive change is made, because of our efforts working together, our community and therefore, we as individuals, benefit.
