Disaster Recovery (BACC-DR)

It is in times of need that we discover the full impact of a community united. During natural or man-made disasters, United Way quickly mobilizes resources to support individuals and families when it’s most needed.

BACC-DR, a program of the United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County, was established in 2017 in response to Hurricane Harvey. It serves as the long-term recovery group for the greater Baytown area and Chambers County. Our mission is to assist in identifying and addressing the unmet needs of those affected by Hurricane Beryl, Hurricane Harvey, and future disasters. We coordinate access to resources that provide relief, offering services without regard to race, color, creed, gender, disability, or religious affiliation.
