Job Name: Coordinator, Community Engagement

Salary Range: $41,000 - $50,000

Position Summary: The Coordinator of Community Engagement is results-oriented and detail focused. The coordinator will support the Director of Community Engagement to implement and measure marketing and communications efforts; coordinate the community impact grant process; and manage the virtual volunteer center, Volunteer Connect. Key performance indicators and goals will be set each year in partnership with the Director.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Core Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Coordinator must be able to work a flexible schedule with the likelihood of some early morning, evening, and weekend work.

Job name: Communities In Schools of Baytown Site Coordinator

Salary Range: $34,000-$36,000/Annual Salary (Full Time)

Full or part time position: Full Time

Description: Student Services. Case manage up to 100 students each school year. Ability to assess student needs and collaborate with school staff to make appropriate linkages to academic, physical, social and other services for students and their families. Create individualized student and family plans, outlining specific needs and courses of action for on-site or referral services. Provide oversight of all service delivery, ensuring that students receive the services outlined in the assessment plan. Track activities and ensure accountability for the resources invested at the site. Serve as advocate and role model for students.
Relationship to School and Community. Work collaboratively with campus staff to maintain a positive CIS Baytown image. Provide orientation of the CIS Baytown program. Actively market the CIS Baytown program. Regularly interface with staff, teachers, counselors, social workers and resource agencies involved in collaborative services. Provide feedback to school principal. Ensure effective communication on all CIS Baytown sponsored activities to parents and faculty. Regularly participate in school-side activities and major events.

Data Collection/Evaluation. Assess student and campuses needs. Gather, enter and analyze collected data for individual, group and school-wide programmatic evaluation. Develop activities and services to meet the needs of campuses and students. Ensure that annual reporting are current and accurate, and that students’ profile folders are complete and submitted on time. Provide data to Program Director.

Description: Oversee shelter operations including service delivery to residents during assigned shift.  Perform related tasks as assigned by Shelter Manager.  

Typical Work Schedule: 40 hours weekly-Sunday: 4pm/12am;Monday – Wednesday: 1pm/9pm; Thursday- Friday: Off; Saturday:  4pm/12am; Tuesday (3rd) & Wednesday (1st) Mandatory Staff Meetings every month; Quarterly Staff Meetings. Job name: Baytown Food Security Network Community Coordinator

Description: Hearts and Hands of Baytown (HHB) seeks a capable, versatile professional to support the Baytown Food Security Network (BFSN). The BFSN includes emergency food providers (food pantries) and other community partners working together to address food insecurity issues in the Baytown community. The BFSN Community Coordinator will work under the Executive Director of HHB and will coordinate logistics and carry out the BFSN strategic goals. Because of the multi-organizational nature of the BFSN, it will be important that this person is comfortable facilitating community partner conversations and cultivating strong relationships with community partners and volunteers.

Description: Provide front desk coverage by answering the agency’s 24-hour Domestic and Sexual Violence crisis hotline, greet guests, and receive and handle community donations.  Provide training to new staff and volunteers in both classroom and hands-on settings.  Enter hotline calls into agency’s database, OSNIUM.

On average, time spent will be 90% (36 hours) crisis intervention and related tasks for Domestic Violence victims and 10% (4 hours) crisis intervention and related tasks for Sexual Assault victims (OAG grant funded time).

Typical workweek: 40 hours weekly
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM-5:30 PM; Hour lunch 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Wednesday 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM; Hour lunch 4 PM – 5 PM
Fri 8:00 AM – 3 PM; Half-hour lunch 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
