Your United Way is collecting funds to support local agencies who, in turn, provide direct services to individuals in need. Funding will continue to be awarded as grants are requested and funding is available.
(April 14, 2020) – In response to the novel Coronavirus, United Way of Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County (UWGBACC) opened the COVID-19 Emergency Fund (Emergency Fund). United Way of Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County (UWGBACC) has supported the community in many ways including program funding for local agencies and Hurricane Harvey disaster relief. Today, the community is facing a new disaster: Coronavirus, a health crisis with added negative economic affects that could be long lasting.
