A Rigorous Community Investment Process
Funding awards were determined through United Way’s annual grant application and review process. Community agencies submitted detailed applications outlining program objectives, measurable outcomes, financial stewardship practices, and alignment with United Way’s focus areas of Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security and Community Resilience.
Applications underwent a thorough evaluation conducted by trained volunteer reviewers and Community Impact & Investments Committee members. Reviewers assessed each proposal based on community need, program effectiveness, organizational capacity, fiscal responsibility and anticipated impact. Recommendations were then presented to the Community Impact & Investments Committee and ultimately approved by the United Way Board of Directors.
This volunteer-driven process ensures transparency, accountability and the responsible stewardship of donor investments while prioritizing programs that create meaningful, measurable change in the community.
Investing in Local Impact
Every dollar invested through United Way’s Community Impact Fund represents the generosity of local donors, workplace campaign partners, corporate supporters, and community members who believe in creating a stronger future together.
Through these investments, United Way and its partner agencies will provide essential services, educational opportunities, health resources, housing support, crisis intervention, and other critical programs that help individuals and families thrive.
