As temperatures drop, too many local students face the cold without a warm coat. From November 3–17, United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County invites you to be part of United We Give Warmth — a community-wide coat drive supporting students in Pre-K through 12th grade across Goose Creek, Barbers Hill, Anahuac, and East Chambers school districts.
Every new coat donated helps stock our Clothing for Kids Closets, ensuring children in need have what they need to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for all season long.
Every coat matters. Every act of kindness adds up to warmth, dignity, and hope.

Why It Matters
Last winter, hundreds of local students received clothing through our Clothing for Kids Closets program. This year, the need is even greater. With your help, we can make sure no child in our community faces the cold alone. When a child has a warm coat, they don’t just face the cold — they face the day. They walk into school ready to learn, play, and thrive without the weight of worry or discomfort.
Your generosity keeps more than just the chill away; it wraps our community’s children in comfort, confidence, and care. Together, we can make sure that every student — in every local district — feels the warmth of a community that stands united for them.
Because when we give warmth, we give more than a coat. We give hope.
