BAYTOWN AND CHAMBERS COUNTY DISASTER RECOVERY (BACC-DR)

DR team painting a damaged home.BACC-DR, a program of United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County, was established in 2017 in response to Hurricane Harvey and serves as the long-term recovery group for the greater Baytown area and Chambers County. Our mission is to identify and address the unmet needs of individuals and families affected by Hurricane Beryl, Hurricane Harvey, and future disasters by coordinating access to relief and recovery resources.
Services are provided without regard to race, color, creed, gender, disability, or religious affiliation.

In times of disaster and every day, 2-1-1 Texas/United Way HELPLINE is our community’s go-to resource. Available 24/7, HELPLINE specialists connect callers with the support they need, from emergency shelter and evacuation information to food, housing, and other essentials. During disasters, 2-1-1 maintains up-to-date information on shelters and recovery resources.
