United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County is proud to announce the selection of Kaci Peña Agosto as its next Chief Executive Officer following a comprehensive national search that attracted nearly 90 applicants from across the country. Kaci will succeed Melissa Reabold, who is retiring as CEO effective June 15, 2026, after years of dedicated leadership and service to the organization and the community.
With more than five years of leadership experience within United Way, Kaci brings a deep understanding of the region’s needs, strong community relationships, and a proven commitment to advancing opportunities for families across the Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County.
Prior to being named CEO, Kaci served as Director of Community Engagement and previously held leadership roles in Community Impact & Investments. As a member of the senior leadership team, she worked closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to guide organizational priorities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and advance United Way’s community investment strategy. In this role, she oversaw a $1.2 million community investment portfolio, ensuring responsible stewardship of funds and alignment with community impact priorities.
Throughout her tenure, Kaci has led cross-sector partnerships with nonprofit organizations, corporate partners, volunteers, and community leaders to address critical challenges facing local families. She has also played a key role in strategic planning, board engagement, fundraising support, and community convenings that have strengthened United Way’s role as a trusted regional convener.
Known for translating community data and partner insights into actionable strategies, Kaci has helped inform funding priorities, improve program outcomes, and expand collaborative initiatives throughout the region. Her leadership reflects a strong belief in the power of partnership, philanthropy, and collective impact to drive measurable improvements in community well-being.

Kaci holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chowan University and completed undergraduate studies in Latin American Literatures and Cultures at The Ohio State University. She also earned a Master of Arts Certificate of Religious Studies through Victory Church and has completed professional certifications in Facilitation Methods through ToP Network and Nonprofit Management through Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. An AmeriCorps alum and recipient of 30 Under 40 recognition from The Baytown Sun, she is passionate about collaborative leadership and creating long-term impact for the communities United Way serves.
