    The Tax-Aide program sponsored by the IRS and AARP Foundation is again providing free federal income tax assistance this year. Tutoring initiative begins in Chambers County   A collaboration for after-school tutoring and transportation represents the first initiative of United Way work to establish on-going presence throughout Chambers County.   Beginning Jan. 30, a group of Anahuac Middle School students, identified by school personnel, are being bused each Thursday after school to the Chambers County Library in Anahuac, for tutoring that focuses primarily on reading.  Read full story.
