Annual Day of Caring: October 22, 2021
United Way of Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County proudly announces the upcoming Day of Caring, scheduled for Friday, October 22, 2021!
Now in its 21st year, Day of Caring is a single-day service event like no other and will rally hundreds of Baytown area and Chambers County volunteers to make improvements throughout our community.
United Way’s Day of Caring supports many nonprofit organizations by connecting each organization with volunteers to complete an on-site project. Volunteers have the opportunity to see first-hand the impact that they are supporting through contributions to United Way of time, talent, and treasure.
The service projects range from painting, cleaning, and organizing to construction repairs, wheel chair ramps, landscaping, and debris removal. This year, projects will be both virtual and in-person, and all projects will follow safety protocols to ensure that this year's Day of Caring is a safe and fun event.
Human service agencies in the Baytown area and Chambers County are encouraged to submit projects by visiting volunteer.unitedwaygbacc.org/doc21.
Projects must be submitted by July 31st, 2021 to be considered.
