Disaster Recovery Coordinator United Way is hiring a Disaster Recovery Coordinator. This position is a grant-funded position that reports to the CEO as well as to the Baytown Area & Chambers County Disaster Recovery (BACC-DR) partnership. The role includes admin support, a high level of communication to all stakeholders, and coordination of relief efforts. Director of Community Impact United Way is hiring a Director of Community Impact. This position is outward facing, results-oriented, high energy and inspiring. The individual in this leadership role will advance United Way’s goals through agency relationships, collective action efforts, strategic investments in community-based human service programs, and successfully securing grant funding to support UW’s impact focus areas, collaborations and operations. They are responsible for identifying solutions to community-wide issues through relationships with service providers, organizations and businesses. They will develop and coordinate long-range strategic plans to build strong partnerships; drive volunteer engagement to support community impact; generate a variety of resources necessary to enhance the organization’s ability to meet its mission of impact; and utilize data to support decisions.
