United Way Day of Caring

2018 Day of caring

Day of Caring is a mobilization of volunteers to celebrate the spirit of giving through service by providing meaningful volunteer opportunities to improve the community. Volunteers work on teams to tackle volunteer projects. No matter what your interests or skills, there is an opportunity for you to get involved.

Now accepting PROJECT applications 

Project applications due by August 17, 2018. Click here to access the project application.

To be considered, the project must be

  1. in the greater Baytown area or Chambers County,

  2. at a local organization, or a project for an elderly or disabled homeowner, and

  3. something that can be completed in one day.


Individuals and teams are encouraged to participate. You must be 14 years of age on the date of Day of Caring to participate. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
