Due to the threat of rain, the United Way of Baytown Area Kickball Tournament scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, is postponed. As soon as a new tournament date is determined, this information will be posted to the United Way of Baytown Area website, and team leaders will be contacted.  For questions, the United Way of Baytown Area office number is 281-424-5922.

A more rigorous and costly GED assessment test will be implemented in January 2014, so Harris County Department of Education officials encourage GED students to prepare for and take tests during 2012 or 2013.
